What this site is
LoFi Music Hub is a reference on lofi and study music. It explains what the term actually describes, where the music came from, how the records are made, what the subgenres are, and what is reasonable to claim about using it for concentration and for sleep.
It also carries the Latin lofi section, which sits alongside the GowiththeFLOW channel on YouTube. That channel publishes long form Latin instrumental material, and the upload list on this site is read from its own public feed rather than typed in.
How claims are handled
The area this site covers is full of confident assertions with nothing behind them: precise decibel figures, heart rate synchronisation, brain wave frequencies, percentages for productivity improvement. Repeating those would make the pages more persuasive and less true.
The policy here is simple. Where a mechanism is well established, such as sung language competing with reading, it is stated plainly. Where the popular version of a finding goes beyond the research, the page says so and explains where the gap is. No study is cited that is not named, and no percentage, effect size or statistic appears anywhere on this site.
What is never invented
- No musician, producer, label or ensemble is invented.
- No release date, chart position, sales figure or streaming total appears anywhere.
- No quotation is attributed to anyone.
- The only listening figures on the site are the view counts the GowiththeFLOW channel's own public feed reports, which move over time.
The upload list
The videos shown on the listen page come from the channel's public RSS feed, read at build time. The feed carries the video identifier, the title exactly as published, the publication date and the view count. It does not return entries in date order, so this site sorts them by publication date before rendering. Anything that trusts the feed's own ordering will report the wrong newest upload.
How the site is built
Every page is generated as static HTML before it is uploaded. There is no client side JavaScript anywhere on this site, no player script, no analytics and no cookies. Video cards are a static image inside a link. The pages load and then they do nothing at all.
Funding
There is no advertising, no affiliate link and no sponsored placement on this site. Nothing here can be bought. It exists as a reference and as the written home for a YouTube channel's Latin lofi material.
